The Caffeine Chronicles: Urth Caffe

The Caffeine Chronicles

On another leg of our caffeine journey, we visited Urth Caffe in the Arts District of Los Angeles. Upon arriving, the first thing that really struck me was the visual appeal of the building itself. Both the inside and outside were brick with beautiful tile work. We ordered our lattes (which are known for their varying and beautiful Latte Art) and took our seats on one of the umbrella’d tables outside. When our lattes arrived, we were definitely not disappointed by the art. I myself got a swan! :) The whole ambiance of the place was lovely and laid back. We saw all types of people from “hipsters” (though I hate to use that word) to a group of fire fighters having lunch. The art found in the architecture as well as the drinks added to the pleasantness of Urth Caffe. One of the most raved about qualities of Urth is the food, so we really want to head back and try some grub the next time :) We would definitely love to check out their other locations.
